Guest speaker at the Highlander Suite between 10 am and noon will be author, journalist, fundraiser and football fan Mike Edwards, a native of Inverness, who is currently leading a campaign called Heading Out.
It follows a 2019 study at Glasgow University which highlighted links between heading the ball and a host of brain illnesses including dementia.
Mr Edwards' talk will be accompanied by an update from Caley Thistle sporting director John Robertson on Scottish Football Association measures being put in place to reduce heading at training.
Michael Halley, who attended the group’s last meeting, will also give a short talk on a new initiative for dementia sufferers, Playlist for Life.
