Inverness H&M to reopen with a new shopping experience in the Eastgate Centre

H&M Inverness is all set to reopen its doors tomorrow morning at 10am with a special offer for shoppers.

The fashion store will show off its new interior in the Eastgate Shopping Centre, with a 20 per cent discount on everything in store for H&M members.

The store was originally meant to close for nine weeks for its major refurbishment, but the time was extended due to coronavirus restrictions.

Jackie Cuddy, Eastgate Centre manager, said: "As soon as it was physically possible, the contractors were back on site and I am delighted to announce that the amazing new H&M store will reopen at 10am."

Having recently renewed their lease, H&M and the landlords of Eastgate put forward a substantial investment to upgrade the store for shoppers. Eastgate owners said the lease renewal, along with the joint investment into the H&M store, sends out a strong message to other major brands who may have Inverness and Eastgate Centre on their wish list.

A spokeswoman for H&M said: "There is a focus on creating a modern and relevant shopping experience.

"When entering the store for the first time, customers will notice warm and welcoming interiors, with collections presented in a slightly lower volume to create a curated display. To ensure the store is providing the best customer experience, a click and collect service will also be available.

"To celebrate the reopening of the store, H&M are giving 20 per cent off everything in-store, until August 26, for both new and existing members. New customers can sign up to be a member via the H&M app or online at hm.com."
