Popular Inverness hotel and restaurant on the market for £1.4m
A popular Inverness hotel and restaurant is on the market for £1.4m.
The Heathmount Hotel, based in the city's Crown area, is now on sale as the current owner, Fiona Newton, has decided to retire after operating the hotel for over 30 years.
Ms Newton commented on the 'bittersweet' news, saying: "I have owned and operated The Heathmount Hotel for over thirty-years and can honestly say it is so much more than a pub, hotel and restaurant. Our loyal staff and customer base make The Heathmount a true community hub and I will miss being at the centre of it. However, I believe it is time for a new generation to takeover and build on my success so I can spend more time with my grandchildren.”
Property agents, Graham + Sibbald has taken the impressive eight-bedroom boutique hotel to market, and says it has already received interest in the property with one viewing already having taken place.
Peter Seymour, a director with Graham + Sibbald, commented: “We were delighted to bring to the market the Heathmount Hotel. This outstanding hotel has proven itself to be a key player in the Inverness market attracting large crowds all year round. It is regarded as one of the cities key leisure institutions and its reputation is well known.
"It's a fantastic business, and has been much loved by Fiona over the years. It's in a really wonderful condition and it will be a very good investment for someone. We've had a viewing already, and a very positive reaction so far."
