An Inverness indoor bowling club is set to reopen today, after being closed due to a fire in a nearby premises.

The Inverness and District Indoor Bowling Club has been shut since an arson attack at Fairways Business Park destroyed several businesses.

Police still remain at the scene and are still looking for the masked man who drove a car into a building and set it alight, causing millions of pounds worth of damage.

After a week of closures, the club will open as usual today.

A spokesperson for the Club said: “We still cannot use the usual front/side door so please use the opposite side which looks on to the Hotel.”
