INVERNESS SHERIFF COURT: Three appear in private court for alleged thefts

Three people have appeared in court in connection with allegations of theft by housebreaking and shoplifting.

Rory Mackay (43), Jade Vint (23) and Frank Ryan (34) all appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court, with all three appearing as having an address in the Highland capital.

Mackay faced two charges of theft by housebreaking, the intent to commit theft and housebreaking with intent to steal.

Co-accused Vint faced two charges of theft by shoplifting and one of by housebreaking. Ryan faced a single charge of theft by shoplifting.

Vint and Ryan were committed for further examination and released on bail.

Mackay was remanded in custody.
