Inverness Victorian Market busker celebrates 30 years milestone playing in city centre
A POPULAR Inverness busker is celebrating his 30th anniversary since he started entertaining passers by in the city centre.
John Casey, originally from Blackburn in West Lothian, moved to Inverness in 1993 and is now a regular sight for residents and visitors in the Highland capital.
Accompanied by his adored dog Frank, he turned to busking as dogs were not allowed in the pubs where he would have been playing his music.
He has since become a regular at his spot near the clock at the Victorian Market.
Nowdays you can see him accompanied by his loyal companion, Moby the Dalmatian, who snoozes at his side as he plays.
Many took on social media after a post from Inverness BID was shared to thank him for the music and entertainment he provided for the past three decades.
