Inverness woman 'beyond excited' to be Miss Scotland finalist
A 26-year-old woman from Inverness has been named as a finalist in the Miss Scotland 2023 contest.
Chelsie Allison was the eighth contender for the crown to be announced.
Organisers have been naming the contestants gradually on Facebook since the end of August. Chelsie is the oldest in the line-up at the moment, with two 18-year-olds being the youngest.
Chelsie said: "So, beyond excited to announce that I am a finalist in Miss Scotland 2023! I cannot wait for what’s to come and to take you all along the journey with me.
"Any shares and likes on the Miss Scotland page, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much."
Chelsie took part in her first pageant in 2018, when she was also a Miss Scotland finalist. She narrowly missed out on the crown on that occasion, finishing just a point behind winner Linzi McClelland.
The announcements has already gained dozens of comments and hundreds of likes and shares on Facebook.
Marion Mccaffery Mckelvie said: "Good luck to our grandaughter Chelsie. Gorgeous inside and out. A very caring person."
Elma Allison said: "Good luck Chelsie Allison, my gorgeous oldest granddaughter, you’ll smash it."
Others described her as beautiful, with a heart of gold.
