Police were called to a house in Inverness three days before Christmas 2021 and found three women in an altercation on the floor.

Officers were dispatched to the property in Laurel Avenue at about 11.20pm on December 22 and entered the flat to find the trio who were all intoxicated.

Fiscal depute Martina Eastwood told Sheriff Eilidh Macdonald at an earlier hearing that they were led into different parts of the house and police had occasion to arrest Jamie Lee Robinson, now of Bruce Gardens, Inverness.

"As she was being handcuffed, she coughed in the face of a police constable and said she had Covid," Mrs Eastwood told Inverness Sheriff Court.

The prosecutor added that Robinson later admitted she did not have Covid.

Robinson admitted culpable and reckless conduct and sentence was deferred until April 27 for a drug treatment and testing order assessment. The 33-year-old had her bail continued.

Sheriff Macdonald told her: "Your rehabilitation is going to be the main thrust of my sentencing."
