Inverness woman stole whisky from Tesco at Inshes
A habitual thief who was in the grip of a drug addiction stole two bottles of whisky and groceries from an Inverness supermarket.
Inverness Sheriff Court heard that 33-year-old Stephanie Rennie, of Mackintosh Road, Inverness admitted the shoplifting offence at Tesco Extra at Inshes Retail Park on April 3, last year.
Fiscal depute Robert Weir said that the crime was only discovered when CCTV footage was checked by staff.

Defence solicitor Willie Young said: "She does not have a great recollection of this. She was in the grip of a fairly significant drug addiction. But she has been seeking help."
Sentence was deferred by Sheriff Robert Frazer until August 15 for a background report and Rennie's bail was continued.
But the sheriff noted her schedule of past offending which included many for dishonesty and drugs.
