It's back! Get a year’s subscription to The Inverness Courier for a £25 charity donation
Our community of digital subscribers is growing rapidly, and we’re giving you another unmissable opportunity to join them. Highland News & Media is offering a 12-month Digital+ subscription to our 11 titles, including The Inverness Courier, for just £25 – with all the money going to charity.
The deal is in support of content editor Andy Dixon’s participation in this year’s Strictly Inverness dance contest, which will see all the money collected from this promotion going to Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
Our Digital+ subscription, which usually costs £49.88 per year, grants you access to our websites, news app, e-editions of our newspapers and invites to exclusive events.
“We’ve been the media partner of this wonderful event since day one and I've found it humbling to fundraise and get to know the other competitors,” Andy said of his participation in the annual event that has generated more than £2 million for Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre since it launched in 2010.
“I was taken aback by HNM doing this promotion offer last month and it was so nice, that we're doing it twice.”
The 39-year-old father-of-two has been partnered with former police officer Ruth Mason, whose husband Stuart died in the hospice last year, following a brave battle with cancer.
"I don't know if I'll ever know quite how much doing Strictly Inverness really means to Ruth – but I'm sure we'll do our very best to do as much as we can to honour Stuart and help Highland Hospice."
HNM is Andy’s corporate sponsor and by using the code STRICTLY from March 8-10 you can get your first year of Digital+ access to The Inverness Courier and all other HNM titles for just £25 – half the normal price.
All of the money will be donated to Andy’s Strictly Inverness fundraising campaign to be split between the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre.
He's also organising the first Highland Masquerade Ball as part of his fundraising drive. It will be held at the Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on March 30. Tickets cost £30 each, with tables of 10 for £300. It includes a meal, music from Tweed ceilidh band, a performance from TFX and a live interview with special guest Evie Morrison, who was a finalist of hit TV show The Traitors.
