Jobs fair to be held in Inverness tomorrow
Jobcentre Plus will be running a jobs fair at Inverness Town House tomorrow.
The four-hour events starts at 10am, with a variety of local employers expected to attend, including NHS Highland, British Red Cross, Meallmore, Birchwood Highland, Fraser Home Care, Highland Home Carers, Highland Homeless Trust, CrossReach and Alzheimer Scotland.
A spokeswoman for the event said: “The events will promote live job opportunities, all available in local and surrounding areas and jobs on offer include support worker, care co-ordinator, care assistant, domestic support, service leader and housing support workers.
“Local employers are keen to speak with people interested in the jobs available, and particularly those who may not have considered Adult Social Care as a job or career before.”
Margarita Morrison, director for Jobcentre Plus in Scotland, said: “For jobseekers, the great news is that there are jobs out there.”
