Kirking of the Council - road closures
The annual Kirking of the Council parade takes place this Sunday and will see a number of city roads closed for a period as follows:
Kingsmills Road closed at its junction with Union Road to its junction with Charles Street, between 10.25am and 10.35am.
Stephens Street closed at its junction with Kingsmills Road to its junction with Stephens Brae between 10.30am and 10.40am.
Stephens Brae closed at its junction with Stephens Street to its junction with Eastgate between 10.30am and 10.40am.
Eastgate closed at its junction with Stephens Brae to its junction with High Street between 10.30am and 10.40am.
High Street closed at its junction with Eastgate to its junction with Bridge Street, between 10.35am and 10.45am and between 12.25pm and 12.45pm.
Bridge Street closed at its junction with High Street to its junction with Bank Street between 10.35am and 10.50am and between 12.30pm and 12.45pm.
Bank Street closed at its junction with Bridge Street to its junction with Fraser Street between 10.40am and 10.55am.
Fraser Street closed at its junction with Bank Street to its junction with Church Street etween 10.40am and 10.55am.
Church Street closed at its junction with Fraser Street to its junction with Friars Lane between 10.45am and 11am and between 12.15pm and 12.25pm.
Church Street closed at its junction with Fraser Street to its junction with Union Street between 12.15pm and 12.30pm.
Union Street closed at its junction with Church Street to its junction with Academy Street between 12.15pm and 12.30pm.
Academy Street closed at its junction with Union Street to its junction with Inglis Street between 12.20pm and 12.35pm.
Inglis Street closed at its junction with Academy Street to its junction with High Street between 12.20pm and 12.40pm.
