Hospitality staff sought for new Ledge climbing gym in Inverness

A recruitment drive has been launched by a Highland catering company ahead of the opening of state-of-the-art climbing centre in Inverness.

Red Poppy is looking for staff for its "new adventure" at The Ledge which is being developed in the former Bensons for Beds unit in Telford Street.

Under the banner of Red Point Kitchen Cafe, it is hiring a range of staff including kitchen assistant, supervisor, waiting staff and barista for the new venture.

Red Poppy, which has a restaurant in Strathpeffer, provides a range of services including events, corporate catering, weddings, mobile kitchens and hog roasts.

The Ledge climbing centre will feature Scotland’s only Olympic-standard bouldering wall and will also provide a community hub.

The Ledge charity will offer support for a range of people including those rehabilitating from cancer, survivors of sexual violence, non-attending school children, young carers and children at risk of being involved in county line drug dealing.
