New Inverness store for Lakeland as it moves from Eastgate Shopping Centre to new branch at Simpsons Garden Centre





A well-known kitchenware chain is set to open a new branch in Inverness after closing its city centre store last month.

Lakeland announced it would shut its branch within the Eastgate Centre in February - a day after the news of the closure of its food court.

Now the company confirmed they will be opening a new store in Simpsons Garden Centre Inverness on March 14.

Donna Paterson, store manager said: “We are so excited to be opening our new store and have been working hard to get everything ready to open the doors and welcome customers old and new.

The store moved to new premises after more than a decade in the Inverness shopping centre.

Simpsons Graden Centre managing director, Andrew Simpson, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Lakeland to Simpsons. Coinciding with our 25th birthday year, this latest addition is testimony to our continually developing garden centre and the excellent shopping experience we offer on site.
