Inverness pharmacy cordoned off with Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and ambulance staff all on the scene after reports car collided with building
• UPDATE: Woman taken to hospital after car crashes into Inverness pharmacy
A peaceful Inverness community was rocked by a large emergency response this afternoon, after reports a car collided with a pharmacy.
Large numbers of police, as well as the presence of fire service and ambulance crews, were reported in the Lochardil area of the city.
Emergency workers could be seen outside Lochardil Pharmacy and Travel Clinic, with police cordons also extending from the health facility to the edge of pavements in Lochardil Road and Morven Road.
There was no immediate confirmation from emergency services as to the nature of the incident but images circulating online show a car inside the pharmacy building. Emergency services have been approached for comment.
