Line of Duty actor spotted with TV presenter Phil MacHugh at Highland beauty spot Balintore Beach filming new TV series Martin Compston’s Scottish Fling
A SCOTTISH actor was spotted on a Highland beach while filming for a new TV series on his native country.
Martin Compston, of Line of Duty fame, was seen with presenter Phil MacHugh and a TV crew working on the new show Martin Compston’s Scottish Fling, a docu-series aiming to find out “what makes modern Scotland tick”.
Pictures were posted on social media by the owner of The Old Manse Bed & Breakfast & The Barn.
The show will be produced by Tern TV and BBC Scotland for BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
The duo will be touring Scotland's wild landscapes and bustling cities, going beyond the beaten track and getting stuck into the most exciting experiences their nation has to offer, meeting a diverse and surprising mix of locals – plus the odd famous friend.
Filming started on the Isle of Harris, with the team coming to Easter Ross at the weekend.
