Locals invited to ‘Keep Inverness West beautiful’

Inverness West ward councillors Bill Boyd, Alex Graham and Graham Ross are inviting people to join them on the Keep Inverness West Beautiful clean-up taking place from tomorrow to Thursday.

During these evenings, people are invited to take part in the Keep Scotland Beautiful Big Spring Clean, which will see volunteers of all ages coming together to make sure the area is looking better than ever.

Each litter pick will run from 6.45pm-8.45pm and full litter picking kit (bags, pickers, gloves etc) will be supplied.

Light refreshments will be available at the end of each event.

Dates and starting venues are as follows:

• Tomorrow – covering Kinmylies/Charleston – meeting at Charleston Academy Community Complex.
• Tuesday – covering Muirtown/Scorguie – meeting at Sea Scout Hut car park, Clachnaharry Road.
• Wednesday – covering Ballifeary – meeting at the Bught Stop, Torvean Avenue.
• Thursday – covering Dalneigh – meeting at the James Cameron Centre, Limetree Avenue.
