Loch Ness makes top 10 of UK's bucket list destinations

LOCH NESS made it in the Top 10 of the most popular UK landmarks according to a recent survey.

According to Compare The Market, who analysed the volume of Instagram hashtags and Google searches for over 35 of the UK’s most famous landmarks, the popular Highland beauty spot ranked fifth on the list.

Loch Ness was the most popular landmark in Scotland, with 301,000 searches for this iconic natural landmark each month, and 485,687 people sharing it on Instagram.

Leading the ranking of most instagrammable landmarks is Big Ben with over 1.4 million pictures under the hashtag #bigben.

Loch Lomond follows closely ranking sixth in the survey.
