Flights between Stornoway and Inverness scheduled for this morning have been cancelled.

The 9.35am service departing Stornoway and the flight from Inverness Airport scheduled to leave at 10.10 have both been cancelled earlier today.

This comes after Sunday saw delays going through security due to ‘technical issues’ for passengers at Inverness Airport.

A spokesperson for Loganair said: “Due to operational reasons we had no alternative but to cancel our flight between Inverness and Stornoway this morning.

“Customers were contacted on Sunday and offered alternative flights or a refund. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank our customers for their patience and understanding.”
