Belladrum Temple transformed into Wonderland for couple's wedding theme
Anyone walking past the Belladrum wedding guests at the Temple this lunchtime might have got a hint of Teri McKenzie and Niall Addison's theme.
Guests dressed as The White Rabbit and the Cheshire Cat offered an instant clue to the world she had chosen to set her wedding in – Alice's Wonderland.
And the couple's outfits for the big day included top hats, just like the Mad Hatter – and one of the guests had adorned her suit with a big key, one of the motifs in the story of Alice's adventures by Lewis Carroll !
Teri had sent a special message in the festival's free newspaper to her mum and dad Ross and Lorna McKenzie – who were camping at a festival for the first time! "Thank you for everything you do for me, I hope you enjoy your first Bella ... and seeing me get married here!"
The couple had decided to hold the wedding ceremony outside, reading their vows to each other which included "brushing their teeth ever day side by side". Guests blew bubbles after the couple had completed the vows, kissed and a storm of confetti blew across the little crowd of guests and well-wishers at the Temple.
Afterwards bride Teri said: "I've really enjoyed it – it was a natural wedding which is just what I wanted!"
The couple were heading to have their pictures taken at the booth on Charity Alley to help raise money for Mikeysline.
