Maggie’s Highlands Orange Ball is ‘fantastic opportunity’ to celebrate support offered to people with cancer in last 20 years
Cancer charity Maggie’s Highlands is calling for people to join them for a night of glamour, food and entertainment to celebrate 20 years of supporting people living with cancer from across the Highlands.
The Orange Ball – a mix of fun, games, prizes, and surprises – will raise vital funds to help the charity continue to support people with cancer, as well as their family and friends.

Taking place at the fantastic Drumossie Hotel, on Friday June 27, guests at the ball will be treated to a welcome drink, “sumptuous” three course meal with wine, and a night of entertainment, all hosted by the “wonderfully funny” Edward Reid, sponsored by Brodies LLP.
There will also be a VIP auction and live band “The Electric Cherries” will be on hand to perform.
Maggie’s Highlands, located in the grounds of Raigmore Hospital, is a warm and welcoming place with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need to find their way through cancer.
Support is free, with no appointments, no waiting list, and no limits.
Tracey Gill, centre fundraiser at Maggie’s Highlands said: “We are very excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary with our first ever Gala Ball.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the support we have offered to people living with cancer over the last 20 years.
“In that time, we’ve seen 195,000 support visits.
“This would not have been possible without the generosity of local people and businesses who help to support our centre, including Slater Menswear and Brodies LLP who are generously sponsoring this event”.
If you would like to reserve a space at the ball you can do so via Eventbrite.
