Next week will see the start of renovation works at the popular Inverness Bingo hall located on Old Perth Road.

The Highland capital’s branch of Carlton Bingo announced yesterday that they will be getting a makeover, with works beginning on Monday, July 8.

The development, which will see the introduction of a brand new bar and carpet, fixed seats as well as updated decor throughout the club, is expected to last until mid-September with some disruption expected in the summer months.

A spokesperson shared on their Facebook page: “We are all very excited for the changes to come and hope that all of our customers enjoy them as much as we will.

“We are working to bring you a more up-to-date club to help try and provide the best experience possible for our valued customers.

“We are very proud to say that all of the work is being carried out by local contractors to help keep income and jobs within our local area.”

“The majority of the work will be taking place through the night to try and keep any disruptions to a minimum but we do apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused.”

A temporary bar will be set up for the duration of the upgrade works.
