Man (30) arrested and charged with attempted murder of two people in Inverness

A 30-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of two people.

Around 7.30pm on Sunday, June 1, police were called to Craigton Avenue after reports of a man and woman injured in the property.

They were both taken to Raigmore Hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

A police spokesperson said: “This was a contained incident and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection.”

The 30-year-old man is expected to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court tomorrow (June 3).
