Inverness is set for a hat-trick of live music as three acts are set to perform in the Big Top Tent at Bught Park.

Ministry of Sound Classical will be first up as they take to the stage on Friday night; Skipinnish will be celebrating their 25th anniversary on Saturday; and the much-anticipated Rag‘n’Bone Man will round off the triple header on Sunday night.

Organised by LCC Live, the spectacle is set to bring thousands to the city.

Claire Kidger, director of LCC Live, said: “Ministry of Sound Classical have a massive line-up! With Tall Paul, K-Klass and Ellie Sax.

“Gates open at 6pm and the first artist will be on stage at 6.30pm. It’s then going to be non-stop until just before 11pm! I’m really looking forward to this one.

“It’s the first time we’ve had them here and it’s an event and experience - it’s going to be spectacular!”

Well-known Highland band Skipinnish will have an array of support artists as they celebrate their anniversary.

Claire said: “Skipinnish are always popular and we’ve worked with them a lot over the years. We’re looking forward to celebrating 25 years with them.”

Rag‘n’Bone Man was meant to perform in Inverness last year, but after his band couldn’t make it to the city he was unable to do the gig.

Claire said: “We promised we would bring him back so we are really looking forward to this much-anticipated night.”

She added: “It’ll be a great weekend overall. People are travelling from all over and it brings them into town.

“It’s great for the city and a wee buzz goes around, with the bars, restaurants, taxis and buses busy. It’s great - especially in these times. We’ve got to keep making things work and helping people out by producing the shows.”

Tickets for each performance are still available online and at the box office each night.
