Missing Inverness man (35) may have been travelling to Caithness
Police have launched a search for a missing Inverness man who they believe may have travelled to Caithness via public transport.
David Pickavance (35) was last seen at around 1.30pm yesterday (March 24) in the Kinmylies area of Inverness.
“We are appealing to the public for any information or sightings that may assist us in tracing David Pickavance who was reported missing from the Kinmylies area of Inverness about 13:30 on Monday 24 March 2025,” said a police spokesperson.
“David is 35, 5"10’ with curly brown hair and a beard. When he was last seen he was wearing a blue jacket, grey knitted sweater, brown trousers and blue Crocs. David has links to Orkney so may have travelled to Caithness for onward ferry connections. We believe David will have used public transport for this.
“[This] image of David supplied by his family, however it is slightly out of date. David now has facial hair and his face is slightly slimmer.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting incident reference 1637 of 24/03/2025.
