Nairn agricultural show cancelled due to coroanvirus

Organisers of the annual Nairn Show have announced its cancellation in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

The show organised by Nairnshire Farming Society is just the latest event cancelled as lockdown continues across the country.

It had been due to take place on Saturday, August 1.

President Gordon Ferguson said: "We would like to thank all members of he society for their support and we aim to be back with a bigger and better show in 2021."
