The Loch Ness monster will be featured in a new limited set of stamps created by Royal Mail celebrating myths and legends.

The eight-stamp set explores the mythical creatures and legendary figures of UK folklore, with Beowulf and Grendel, Blodeuwedd and selkies also being pictured.

London-based artist Adam Simpson — whose work has been shortlisted for a British Design Award — created the illustrations.
