New head of Nairn West and Suburban Community Council

THERE is a new person heading one of Nairn's two community councils.

Dr Alastair Noble was appointed chairman of Nairn West and Suburban Community Council at its AGM.

Dr Noble became interim chairman following the resignation from the role of Sheena Baker.

Brian Stewart is secretary and Phill Stewart is treasurer.
