A9 dualling roadworks between Tomatin and Moy will see overnight traffic signals introduced for two weeks
Work to dual the A9 between Tomatin and Moy will see overnight traffic signals introduced for two weeks from April 28.
Road users are being warned that as part of work being undertaken to dual the trunk road, traffic signals will be in place at various locations between 7pm and 6am — with the exception of Saturday or Sunday evenings.
A temporary speed restriction of 30mph will also be implemented during the overnight works in the works area to safely manage traffic flows and minimise disruption to road users.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: “These temporary traffic signals are necessary to ensure road user and road worker safety and to safely manage traffic whilst work is undertaken.
“Road users are advised to approach the area with care and allow extra time for their journeys whilst these works are undertaken.
“Please note, all works are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable. Please refer to the Traffic Scotland website for live updates.”
