Against a background reminiscent of a Christmas card, a snowplough gets on with the task of clearing the A9 at Daviot, south of Inverness.

The scene, photographed by Highland News & Media photographer Gary Anthony, was taken in January 2015 as a band of wintry weather swept through the Highlands.
