Picture flashback: Photographer who was out in all weather captures Highlands blanketed by snow in 2015
Against a background reminiscent of a Christmas card, a snowplough gets on with the task of clearing the A9 at Daviot, south of Inverness.
The scene, photographed by Highland News & Media photographer Gary Anthony, was taken in January 2015 as a band of wintry weather swept through the Highlands.
In another image, he captures a solitary person walking along an empty road as the snow falls heavily.
These images form part of an online retrospective series, Behind The Lens: The Legacy of a Highland news photographer, in tribute to Gary who died in August 2023, aged 58.
