PICTURES: Celebrating during the coronavirus lockdown
Since the lockdown, many of us have had to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers and new arrivals, a little differently to how we normally would.
We asked our Facebook followers to send us pictures of how they or their loved ones have been celebrating special occasions during the lockdown so we could give them a shout out.
Annie Glynn from Elgin sent us this picture of her daughter Chelsea who turned 21 on Friday, May 22.
They celebrated by decorating the house, having a takeaway and with video messages from Chelsea's friends and family. Happy belated Birthday to Chelsea!
A big congratulations to Kimberley Soutter on the birth of her daughter.
Kimberley Soutter, from Aviemore, sent in the above picture of her new daughter Violette-Rose Soutter who was born on Monday, May 4 at Raigmore Hospital.
Kimberley said: "It was a weird experience being in hospital myself. With Covid-19 happening, my husband couldn't be there for the birth so my mother-in-law had to step in. It's an experience I will never forget."
Kimberley was able to video call her family as soon as Violette-Rose was born.
Adele Jones sent us the above pictures of her aunt Maisie Campbell from Inverness who celebrated her 86th birthday on Thursday, May 14.
Adele said: "We made cookies and a picnic for one, which we delivered to her – keeping socially distanced – while playing her favourite Jim Reeves from the car."
Many happy returns to Maisie Campbell!
Alice Hannan from Culbokie sent us this photo of herself and her daughter Kayla, who will turn four on Friday, May 29.
Alice said: "Kayla misses her friends at Mulbuie Nursery but will be celebrating here on the family farm in Culbokie and understands fully that when the 'bad germ' goes away, she can have a proper party with her friends."
We hope Kayla has a great birthday when it comes.
Keep sending us your pictures of how you are celebrating in lockdown.
Send a picture along with the individual's name and where they live to newsdesk@hnmedia.co.uk and make sure you tell us a little bit about what you did or plan to do to make the day at home special.
