Inverness Cauldeen Primary Christmas Fair at Drakies Community Hall hailed a big success after raising £800 towards the Highland school’s funds
Festive cheer and community spirit delighted all ages when Cauldeen Primary School’s Christmas Fair took place at the weekend.
The event had faced a last-minute challenge, as the school hall was unavailable due to floor damage, but the parent council were swiftly able to source an alternative venue at Drakies Community Hall and the fun and games were able to go ahead as planned.
Delighted organisers have praised the “fantastic” turnout from the public, and the day helped to raise £804.50 for school funds.
“Despite the challenges, the turnout and support from the community were fantastic,” said a spokesperson for the Parent Council. “It’s a wonderful reminder of what we can achieve together.
