PICTURES: Inverness woman needs your help to secure place in Miss Swimsuit UK final
A NORMALLY shy woman from Inverness is hoping to find enough support to make it to the finals of a national beauty competition.
Chloe Maume (20) from Inverness made it to the semi-finals of the Miss Swimsuit UK competition held in Newcastle recently.
Although she finished among the top 10, her hopes of making it any further now rely on her being selected as a wildcard finalist.
In order to do so she has to raise the number of “likes” on her picture which has been posted on the competition’s official Instagram profile @missswimsuituk
She has 600 likes so far and has until Sunday to drum up more support in her bid to join 40 other women at the finals in Manchester this September.
Kent-born Chloe works as a support service assistant at the Centre for Health Science in Inverness and said that, despite being normally quite shy, she entered the competition to challenge herself.
“I am amazed by how many people have supported me so far,” she said.
“It’s been a great experience to participate so far and I have met so many inspiring and empowering women.
“Everyone I met has been great and all the girls were cheering for each other.”
The winner of the UK final will win a £10,000 trip to Mexico along with the chance to compete in the competition’s international finals which will be held there in November.
