PICTURES: Festival fun in the foodhall for Bella’s Victorian Market takeover
The Victorian Market in Inverness became “Bella-fied” this afternoon as the popular festival brought its feel-good factor to the food hall.
Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival announced their plans for a Victorian Market “take-over” earlier this month and announced a packed lineup of festivities to entertain market goers throughout the day.

The Inverness Courier was there this afternoon to capture some of the action.
Fairy tale favourites Ariel and Rapunzel made an appearance to kick things off at noon, spreading “the message of love and positivity” with a variety of stories, songs and dancing.
The Bella princesses, expertly provided by See Chelle’s Characters, served up a taste of the family fun experience that the children’s characters will bring to Belladrum this July.
Visitors to the market were then treated to some afternoon music performances, firstly from John B’s Daughter, before Pigs N Blankets took to the stage.
Then, at 3pm, trapeze entertainment followed before a well attended whisky and beer tasting featuring offerings from Tomatin Whisky and Black Isle Brewery.
Another musical performance, this time from Davy Cowan Music, served as a perfect warm up for Hamish Macdonald, who delighted with some poetry.
Festivities are set to continue on into the evening with the Big Bella Quiz, followed by some comedy sets and a live performance from Karawane.
