PICTURES: 'Great visitors, great music and great craic' at the Black Isle Gathering
Several hundred people turned out to enjoy the Black Isle Gathering in Fortrose on Saturday, to enjoy an afternoon of crafts, arts, music and food.
With 47 stalls offering their wares throughout the day, the all-day indoor 'street market' featured community groups, small businesses, craft workers, churches, charities, societies, associations, sports clubs and more.
This was complimented by a range of musical offerings from performers and choirs, and a series of children's activities too.
Ian Goode, facility manager at Black Isle Leisure Centre, said: "It's been fantastic, and a really good turnout. It's really good to see so many people from the Black Isle. We have had lots of different stalls and activities going on, with some music and local choirs too, and individual players as well. It's been great."
Organisers reserved praise for the Highlander Cadets who assisted throughout the day.
