PICTURES: Inverness city centre resurfacing work makes progress





RESURFACING of a section of Academy Street in Inverness city centre is set to be complete on Friday.

Work start on the part of the road from the entrance to the Victorian Market round to the bus stop at Falcon Square on Sunday.

Taxi ranks within the works area have been temporarily relocated to Station Lane at the rear of Inverness railway station during the works.

Prior to the work, a Highland Council spokeswoman apologised for any inconvenience.
