Organisers of Inverness Farmers' Market have promised even more stalls next month following a successful return.
The first outing for the market since the coronavirus lockdown was imposed was blessed with good weather last weekend.
There was a steady stream of visitors last Saturday and organisers said there were more younger people than usual.
Debbie McBean, one of the market’s directors, said a lot of people had read about its return in the Inverness Courier and Highland News last week.
She said: “The market was absolutely amazing on Saturday considering how things have been.”
Mrs McBean said the trade was good, especially for the food stalls, and the two new stalls – Highland Boundary distillery and Rising Roots – also had a lot of interest.
She said: “The response generally was that they were glad to see us back again. We will have more stands next month.”
The market is held in the city centre on the first Saturday of every month.
