PICTURES: Looking back at All Under One Banner rally in July 2018 as new gathering expected in Inverness this weekend

THOUSANDS of people are expected to gather in Inverness this weekend as part of a Scotland-wide pro-independence movement.

The last rally organised in the Highland capital by All Under One Banner was before the pandemic as pro-indie protesters took over the city centre and Northern Meeting Park in July 2018.

Organisers said that back then around ten thousand people were in attendance, with marchers from all over Scotland.
