Pictures: Piper at reopening of Loch Ness Centre where he was once a car park attendant
A piper who once worked as a young car park attendant at the Loch Ness Centre took centre stage at its reopening following a £1.5 million revamp.
The Loch Ness Piper, Danny MacLeod, took part in the celebrations as the visitor attraction opened its doors to the public.
The centre was acquired by Continuum Attractions earlier this year.
Danny worked at centre when he was 13 years old as a car park attendant and 20 years later, he joined the team in welcoming guests following the upgrade.
"It was an extra special event for me, having been brought up in Drumnadrochit and also working at the centre as a teen – and what better piper to have along at the Loch Ness Centre than the Loch Ness Piper!" he said.
