PICTURES: Santa’s flying visit to Eastgate Centre in Inverness
There was a warm Highland welcome for Father Christmas when he paid a visit to Inverness.
Santa took time out of his busy schedule when he arrived with his Cairngorm reindeer at Falcon Square on Sunday.
Families and visitors were able to enjoy an enchanting start to the festive period when he took up residence in his magical Peter Pan themed grotto in neighbouring Eastgate Shopping Centre.
Centre manager Jackie Cuddy said it was an exciting time, adding: “Santa’s arrival with his reindeer marks the start of the festive season at Eastgate Shopping Centre.”
The grotto, which was provided by Eastgate, raised much-needed funds for Highland Hospice which is operating the attraction.
Inside the centre, Mr and Mrs Bubbles were clowning around with balloon modelling while Happy Faces provided free face painting on the day.
There will be lots of fun activities taking place at Eastgate this Christmas including a toy testing workshop with Santa’s Elves on Saturday, December 3.
