BAKING demonstrations and fun challenges were on the timetable at a student social event at the Eastgate Shopping Centre in Inverness.
During the evening event students battled it out on the Turni-mator Wipe Out and struck poses for the selfie mirror as retailers joined in the fun, many offering discounts and goody bags.
Centre manager Jackie Cuddy said although the events were not as busy as when they first started – as many centre retailers now given student discounts all-year round – many students still turned up to take advantage of enhanced offers available for one-night only.
“There is always a good buzz about the centre on student nights with the music and entertainment,” she said.
