The MSC Preziosa at Invergordon during its debut appearance in the firth in May 2017.
THE biggest cruise ship of the season arrived in the Cromarty Firth today (Monday) – but what's it like inside a ship three times more massive than the Titanic?
MSC Preziosa, which can accommodate 3959 passengers and 1370 crew, is truly colossal. At a whopping 140,000 tonnes, it's almost like a floating town in itself and whenever it docks at Invergordon it towers over the community.
But what's it like inside a cruise ship this size?

Well, during its first ever visit to the Cromarty Firth, almost exactly six years ago to the day, we got to have a look around it.
And the scale on the inside is every bit as impressive as on the outside – with no fewer than four swimming pools alone, and huge theatre/cinema space, casino... and even jewel encrusted staircases where every single step consisted of €30,000 worth of Swarovski crystals.
Click on the gallery below to see just some of the impressive sights in, on and around the ship at harbour.
