PICTURES: Bellfield Winter Garden in Inverness delights visitors of all ages

Inverness's top festive attraction – the Bellfield Winter Garden – opened at the weekend and went down a treat with all ages.

Families enjoyed a range of new festive light installations as even Santa himself paid a visit.

An advent calendar is also opened every day by the first visitors to the park.

The garden will be open from noon-8pm daily until Christmas.

The event is delivered by High Life Highland on behalf of Highland Council’s Inverness Events and Festivals Working Group, and funded by the Inverness Common Good Fund.

High Life Highland events manager, Amy Macleod, said: “Bellfield’s Winter Garden is a family friendly, festive park space for individuals and families to enjoy in their own time in the lead up to Christmas.”
