Plate spinning and juggling were enjoyed by youngsters taking part in a circus skills workshop in Inverness.

The city's Eastgate Shopping Centre is running a programme of free activities for children during the summer holidays.

They included the circus skills and the performing arts at a workshop run by Trapeze Entertainment.

Other activities offered by the shopping centre's Nevis Club include encounters with exotic animals, stories and puppetry and making smoothies using pedal power.

The club runs every Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am to 3pm until August 12.
