City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band performs in High Street and collects more than £300 for Ukraine as part of a weekend fundraising initiative organised by High Life Highland

The City of Inverness Youth Pipe Band drew a crowd in High Street today to raise funds for Ukraine.

It was part of a weekend collection organised by High Life Highland (HLH).

Pipe major Lewis Barclay, who is also a music instructor with HLH, said it was a worthwhile cause and added: "We are glad we are able to do our little bit."

They collected a total of £363.95 – and 1.30 in Euros – during the half hour performance.
