Inverness police continue inquiries into stabbing of 50-year-old man in Tomnahurich Street
Police inquiries are continuing today into a late-night stabbing in an Inverness street in which a man was seriously injured.
The incident happened in Tomnahurich Street about 10.15pm on Thursday evening.
Police Scotland has issued an appeal for information.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said today: “Inquiries are ongoing into this incident.”
Emergency services were called to the scene on Thursday night and a 50-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital.
A dedicated team of police officers has been carrying out extensive enquiries, including reviewing CCTV and going door to door, while forensic crime scene investigators have been examining the street.
Police have also said they would like to reassure the community that they are doing everything possible to trace whoever is responsible.
