UPDATE (13:15pm): Police enquiries at ‘early stage’ after theft and break-in at premises on Greig Street, Inverness

A police cordon is in place outside an Inverness newsagents.

Eye witnesses have reported the presence of a police vehicle and tape at the entrance to the newsagents on Greig Street since mid-morning, with access to the premises currently restricted.

The circumstances of the incident are not yet known.

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
