Polish visit to Inverness seals Rotary twinning arrangement

The Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden has extended the hand of friendship across borders.

A delegation of 19 Polish Rotarians from the Krakow Rotary Club of Wawei recently visited the Highland capital for the purpose of twinning with the local group.

Over the course of a few days they engaged in many activities ranging from a cruise on Loch Ness to visits to Fort George, Culloden Battlefield and the Clava standing stones.

Their visit culminated in a twinning ceremony, dinner and ceilidh at Inverness Golf Club.

The twinning agreement was signed by Janusz Malinga, past president of the Rotary Club of Krakow Wawel and Bartlomiej Kisielewski, president, as well as John Marr, past president of the Rotary Club of Inverness Culloden.
