A popular Inverness city centre clothing store is currently closed to the public after a till system fault which is affected shops across the UK.
Primark on Bridge street has been shut to the public in the past hours following a technical issue which makes it impossible for staff to sell products.
Customers form all over the country have messaged the retail giant on social media to ask for updates.
A Primark spokesperson replied: "This store is experiencing issues with our tills and has had to close temporarily as a result.
"We are working to resolve this and hope to be back open asap. We’re very sorry for the inconvenience caused."
At present it is unknown when the store will be able to reopen.
Another city centre business which had to unexpectedly close doors is burger restaurant Coyote's.
On their social channels, they have shared they had to close due to an issue with their extraction fan in the kitchen.
