Ready to be bowled over? Nairn Bowling Club set to host April open day
A NAIRN bowling club will be hosting an open day at the end of the month to encourage more people on the green.
Nairn Bowling Club, which will open to members on April 22, are welcoming everyone to their Come and Try Bowls Day.
The event will run from 2pm-4pm and those in attendance will be able to use the club’s sets of bowls – all that is needed is flat shoes or trainers.
Club treasurer Ruth McWilliam said: “It will be open to anyone of any age or ability who may be interested in trying out bowling or perhaps someone who has bowled in the past and would like to come back to the game.
“It will be a friendly, fun afternoon with coaches on hand to explain everything, and of course there will be tea, coffee and cake!
“We are a very friendly club and everyone will be made welcome. It’s a great way to meet people and make new friends.”
Anyone wishing to attend can join at Nairn Bowling Club, in Albert Street, or ask for more information at nairnbowlingclub@gmail.com
